Ten Latin American and Caribbean countries present at the PyeongChang Winter Games

In PyeongChang, South Korea, a total of 10 countries from Latin America and the Caribbean will participate, where Brazil has the largest delegation, while Ecuador will debut in a competition of this type.

The first intervention of a Latin American country in the Olympic Winter Games dates back to the appointment of 1924, when Argentina participated in the ice skating tests.

Neither Latin America nor the Caribbean have any medal in this type of competition.
