Winners of the poster contest against the US blockade of Cuba

The posters, coming from Cuba, Argentina, Brazil, China, the United States, Italy, Japan and Mexico, according to the jury, are generally characterized by the quality and use of new graphic codes, which provide a different way of viewing the message No More Blocking (No Más Bloqueo).

The No More Blocking Poster Contest was convened for the first time by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba (MINREX) and the National Design Office (ONDI).

2nd Prize Armando Mesa Pérez (Cuba)

 
 
 

As a result of the Contest, 3 works were awarded: 1st Prize, awarded to Liz Capote Alonso, 2nd Prize, awarded to Armando Mesa Pérez, both from Cuba, and the 3rd Prize, awarded to Ana Laura Peirone, from Argentina.

The judges in charge of evaluating the works, made up of visual and plastic arts specialists, as well as directors of ONDi and MINREX, also decided to make 7 mentions to: Amauri Rivera Rodríguez, Lisandra Caridad González Rodríguez, Liz Capote Alonso, Alberto Rambaudi , Andrés Ruenes Pérez, Yunisleidys Hernández Alvarez and Teodoro Mancera Cruz, all from Cuba.
